Adobe PDF now a certified ISO standard

After one year and a half of document processing, Adobe’s PDF has now been declared as an international standard for electronic document formats. According to Adobe, the initiative to standardize PDF came from the consistent demand of various government and private organizations of open formats and that opening Adobe’s PDF to third-party assessment will drive the company more to improve and enhance the current PDF system.
