A very old man who—you eventually realize—knows literally everything

By Karl De Abrew on 18 August, 2008 | , No Comment

Whilst we’re on the ebook theme, and PDF-based at that — if you already haven’t, it’s definitely worth taking the time to download a copy of Scott Adam’s God’s Debris as an eBook (PDF of course).

Published free for electronic download — it’s been so successful that it made its way over the electron-to-paper divide for sale at Amazon as a printed book (and other bookstores too), with new copies almost $11 including shipping.

But you’re free to shoot the PDF around to as many of your friends as you like, in fact, Scott says:

… it might be the most compelling vision of reality you will ever read. The thought experiment is this: Try to figure out what’s wrong with the old man’s explanation of reality. Share the book with your smart friends then discuss it later while enjoying a beverage.

There’s a sequel to it as well — interesting not available electronically, called The Religion War, I guess it’s not quite so easy to make a buck of a free ebook just yet…

p.s. in case you’re wondering who Scott Adam’s is — does Dilbert ring a bell?
