OpenOffice sports direct conversion to PDF

In case you’re not aware of it yet, Chris Livesay from Computer Corner reminds us that the freely available OpenOffice includes a built-in save as PDF feature (similar to Microsoft Office 2007).

    Hmm – just fell over on that last night.
    In a panic I couldn’t find it and resorted to Adobe.com service to fix a “fire” (well had to do the docx to doc conversion first!).

    In the cold light of day, I
    a) put the free M$oft addin for Save As pdf/xps into Off2007
    b) Found the EXPORT AS PDF option in OO3 Write

    *** i.e. NOT Save As but EXPORT AS PDF ***
