Enfocus Introduce PitStop Extreme

Enfocus, a leading provider of printing and prepress software, have introduced a new addition to their PitStop product family: PitStop Extreme.

PitStop Extreme is a PDF editor designed to allow quick checking and correcting of PDF files and is available on Mac OS X and Windows. It is standards-compliant, including PDF/X and the Ghent PDF Workgroup specifications. PitStop Extreme will be priced at US$3,499 and included in the license for PitStop Extreme is a free license to use PitStop Professional on the same system.

A few days ago I tested Adobe Reader 9 on Windows 7 and didn’t discover any major issues. Adobe Reader worked correctly despite the fact that Windows 7 is not yet a supported platform. Today I thought I’d try the same with Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro.
