Editor and Publisher report that PitStop Professional, PitStop Server, Switch and Instant PDF version 8.0 products have been upgraded with the following updates:
- Compatibility with Adobe Acrobat 9
- Advanced multilingual capabilities
- Redesigned, more-compact PitStop Inspector
- UI upgrades for faster access
- Revisions to conform with the latest standards and operating systems
For those who aren’t in the know - Enfocus’ products are primarily aimed at the graphics and print professional – a quick overview:
- PitStop Professional allows a user to preflight, edit and correct PDFs prior to professional printing.
- PitStop Server is an application based on hot-folders for unattended PDF document processing. It’s aimed at pre-flighting and where possible, repairing of PDF-related problems without intervention.
- Switch 8.0 automates repetitive tasks to standarize your work and reduce errors.
- Instant PDF is a PDF creator application aimed at compliance with print or ad specifications such as PDF/X-1a, PDF/X-3, PDF/X-4 and Ghent PDF Workgroup industry standards.
