Big Faceless Organization have released an updated version of their Java PDF Library. Version 2.10.4 includes numerous under the hood changes and includes new features, such as a single column display in the Viewer; improvements to allow the library to work with XFA-only PDFs and the addition of the new USPS “IntelligentMail” BarCode.

PDF became an ISO standard earlier this year, and while the official version can be purchased from the ISO website (and delivered on CD or as a downloadable PDF), Adobe have also published a free downloadable version on their website.
