BFO Updates Java PDF Library, Improves Integration Of Java Applets

19 Jan 2009 | | No Comment

Big Faceless Organization (BFO) has released an updated version of their Java PDF Library. Version 2.11.1 takes advantage of new Java applet features found in Java 6 Update 10 to make improvements in BFO’s Java PDF Viewer.

The updated release provides better integration the clients desktop and has resulted in a far smaller installer for the viewer — just 650 KB.

CTO Mike Bremford says, “The new features and improvements in Java 6 Update 10 make applets better for end-users to use and easier for developers to deploy. If you haven’t already done so then it really is worth upgrading to the latest version, which you can download from the Java Site.”

More information about this release can be found on BFO’s blog.
