Coherent Graphics releases an updated PDF Toolkit

Coherent Graphics Ltd., a provider of command line tools for Windows, Mac and Unix has updated its PDF Toolkit for modifying PDF files from the command line to version 1.3. The new Toolkit is suitable for stand-alone use or from within scripts or programs server-side and is accompanied with 50-page manual.

Following are the features supported in version 1.3:

  • Any font can be used to add text from another PDF files
  • Scaling of pages is made possible
  • Multiple operations can be done with a single command line
  • Speed increases on large files

Features that were already present in the previous release:

  • Splitting and Merging, Keeping Bookmarks
  • Encryption and Decryption
  • Scaling, rotating, cropping and flipping pages
  • Logos, watermarks, page numbers and text
  • Reading and setting document information and metadata
  • Making PDF-based presentations and more

It is compatible with Windows, Mac OS X and Linux/x86 platforms. Trial version can be downloaded from company portal with a single license priced at 200 US dollars and a personal non-commercial one at 80 US dollars.
