Barnes and Noble Launches Nook 3G/Wi-Fi Digital reader

World’s best bookseller, Barnes and Noble, today unleashed its new eBook reader, the Nook, which will be available by the end of next month and can read almost every file format including the most popular, PDF.

One can preorder the Nook which is priced at USD $259. The product supports ePub and PDF as well as fictionwise eBook format.

The Nook is empowered with Android and features a inch E-ink colour touch screen which allows customers to navigate content and turning to virtual keyboard for search purposes. It comes with built-in 3G wireless connection, Wi-Fi and an expandable memory upto 2GB.

The Company has been working on the development of the Nook for last few months and released first information about the product today itself. With its modest range, it aims at capturing the mobile reading enviroment.
