Do-It-Yourself PDF to ePub format software released

1 Oct 2009 | | No Comment

Sydney-based DNAML Pty Ltd have released version 1 of their software wizard, PDF to ePub. A tool which, surprisingly enough — converts PDF books to the ePub format.

They say that the process requires no programming knowledge and that it can dramatically decrease conversion costs to around $2 – $5 per title.

The ePub format is the industry standard and has been adopted by major players such as Adobe as part of their Digital Editions, and Sony who recently ditched their in-house DRM in favor. DNAML say that a Mac format is due for completion within the next month.
