Appligent announces FDFMerge 6.0: Server-based PDF forms management, now powered by Adobe’s PDF Library

Appligent Document Solutions, a company developing 3rd party PDF softwares, today released the version 6.0 of its FDFMerge and FDFMerge Lite server software for Windows, AIX, Linux and Solaris. The versions for Mac OS X and HP-UX will be soon made available.

The new FDFMerge comes powered with the Adobe PDF Library enhancing reliability in opening and repairing damaged PDF files. A new feature “CommandCollections” is also added to speed operations and more.

The application was first released in 1998 and has been in continuous development since. It is the first server software for PDF forms with features of form filling and flattening to selective flattening, form-field attribute management, document security and much more.

FDFMerge is used in various sectors including Government agencies to present documents online, while content developers use FDFMerge everyday for its sophisticated typographic control over form-field contents. It is available in both standard and Lite editions at a license of $1,995 and $995 respectively.
