KnowledgeLake releases new version of imaging for SharePoint software

13 Dec 2009 | | No Comment

KnowledgeLake, Inc., a provider of document imaging and capture technologies, launched a new version of KnowledgeLake Imaging for SharePoint.

One of the features provided by the new version of KnowledgeLake Imaging for SharePoint v3.0 helps manage sensitive data on electronic and paper documents. DocEncrypt allows a user to select a zone on the TIFF or PDF document, and then encrypt or decrypt that zone with a password. This does not require copies of a document to be stored without encryption.

KnowledgeLake Imaging for SharePoint also offers a number of features which include a Silverlight document viewer, a thumbnail view in the search result, the ability to view PDF and Office documents, and document encryption. Unstructured content can be managed directly from SharePoint using this software.

With the Silverlight document viewer users can now view common documents types from SharePoint such as TIFF, PDF and Office documents. In addition, the viewer takes full use of the latest technologies from Microsoft and helps the user to annotate TIFF and PDF files using highlights, lines, image stamps, and sticky notes.
