Foxit Corporation, a company providing solutions for reading, sharing, creating and securing PDF documents, today announced the release of improved firmware 2.0 for both 32MB and 64MB eSlick. The latest release is now available and can be downloaded from company’s website.
Foxit eSlick is a device for reading almost all types of documents and images that can be converted to a PDF, ePub or eReader PDB file. The device is 0.4″ thick, 6.4 ounces with a resolution of 600×800 pixel and makes use of electronic-paper display technology for providing a sharp, black-and-white screen that looks and reads like paper. Unlike LCD screens, it doesn’t put strain on eyes and reads much easier. eSlick offers PDF reflow capability for better reading experience and comes with a built-in MP3 player . It is priced at @259.99 and can be ordered directly on Foxit’s website.
