VISIARC launches Mobile Documents for streaming large PDFs

VISIARC, a Swedish mobile software developer, and The Symbian Foundation launched the Mobile Documents, a subscription-based streaming application for Symbian OS-based mobile devices. The announcement was made at DEMO 2010.

Mobile Documents offers streamed access to large emails and their attachments such as images and PDFs, avoiding the inconvenience and costs associated with downloading large files to mobile devices. The application will allow users to immediately access the files that are stored on remote servers, attach them to emails and send to other users. The application comes with an in-built PDF Reader and supports MS Office.

A demonstration version of Mobile Documents is available for Symbian^1 and Symbian^3 platforms and can be downloaded from http://m.mobiledocuments.com
