LuraTech, a provider of document conversion solutions, announced that callas software GmbH, a software developer of PDF solutions, has developed a PDF conversion module for LuraTech’s DocYard, its document conversion platform. The module developed by callas software is called pdfaPilot 2 and it integrates the ability to convert the digital file formats to PDF/A into the workflow of the DocYard platform.
The pdfaPilot 2 module for LuraTech’s DocYard provides a versatile tool to convert all digital files, including PDF and the files from Microsoft Office applications, into PDF/A format. DocYard offers a scalable, centrally managed platform for building document capture and conversion workflows. It reduces the manual effort involved in implementation, set-up and monitoring of their processes while providing quality assurance.
LuraTech will be demonstrating DocYard and the pdfaPilot 2 module at the AIIM Expo & Conference (Booth 2228) in Philadelphia on April 20-22, 2010.
