Rosebud Goes After Adobe With Patent Suit Over Collaboration Technology

18 May 2010 | | No Comment

Rosebud PLM Inc has filed a complaint against Adobe Systems Inc for patent infringement, fraud and violation of a licensing agreement. The suit stems from Rosebud’s claims that Adobe stole its idea for a collaborative document-editing application after the two companies unsuccessfully concluded talks about a possible partnership based on Rosebud’s then-pending patent in 2003. The complaint was filed in the U.S. District Court for the District of Delaware on the 14th of May, 2010. Adobe has not yet made a public comment about the complaint.
