Adlib Software, a vendor for document conversion, recognition and publishing solutions, announced the release of new version of Adlib PDF for SharePoint, its Document transformation product, with full-support for Microsoft SharePoint 2010.
Adlib PDF for SharePoint enables the automation of key business processes across an enterprise and greatly reduces the administrative costs, ensures compliance with company and regulatory requirements, and increases collaboration and flexibility.
The key new features of Adlib PDF for SharePoint includes:
- Centralised and Single-server installation – A simplified central-installation of software and the workflows can be deployed on multiple SharePoint servers but managed centrally
- Support for SharePoint Designer – Out-of-box support for latest SharePoint Designer provides flexibility and reduces costs without any custom coding
- Merging files in Document sets – A new feature to merge and convert files in a Document set to single PDF file
- Document rendering driven by meta-data - New enterprise managed meta-data services to automate the document conversion workflows while maintaining the quality of the converted document
