Adlib Software, a vendor for document conversion, recognition and publishing solutions, announced its technology partnership with Nintex, a software developer for solutions built on Microsoft SharePoint. The partnership is aimed to deliver a powerful integrated solution for automating business processes in Microsoft SharePoint through use of workflow and document conversion tools.

The partnership brings two leading products together and these are Adlib PDF for SharePoint and Nintex Workflow. The partnership will simplify the process of developing workflows and enable rich document rendering without any custom coding, deliver flexibility to organizations to react quickly to business needs and reduce costs by eliminating manual business processes.

Adlib PDF for SharePoint provides core services to store, manage, collaborate and transform documents within SharePoint to a universally accessible PDF  for sharing and collaboration. Nintex Workflow 2007 enables organizations to build complex workflow processes easily using a web browser interface and reduces effort with automation of common SharePoint administrative tasks.

The partnership will provide the users with the ability to include document rendering within larger business workflows which can be easily designed and deployed using Nintex Workflow e.g. the automatic conversion and distribution of documents in a secure PDF format after a document approval or it could be converting documents to PDF/A as part of the archiving process.

The partnered solution is now available and supports Microsoft SharePoint 2007 and 2010.
