Aji, LLC, a software developer, announced that its popular iAnnotate PDF, an iPad App for taking notes and adding highlights in the documents, will be part of the course materials for the first-year medical students at Stanford School of Medicine.

iAnnotate PDF is a complete annotation solution that enables the users to take notes, highlight and underline in the documents and diagrams. And all this with a simple drag of the finger. iAnnotate PDF will help the medical students by eliminating the need of managing voluminous printed texts while facilitating easy consolidation and organization of notes and documents. Students can easily email and share notes on PDFs with other students in their study groups.

The App will also assist Teachers with quick grading of assignments and share annotated diagrams, charts or syllabi with students.

iAnnotate PDF has been recently upgraded to version 1.2 which now include Dropbox and VGA support, optimizations for finger/pen movements, improved responsiveness, screen-based navigation and enhanced Security. iAnnotate provides the ability to transfer PDFs via email, iTunes synchronisation or clicking any PDF web link.

iAnnotate PDF 1.2 is compatible with iPad and requires iPhone OS 3.2 or later and at least 7.4MB. iAnnotate PDF 1.2 is available for USD 9.99 from the App Store.
