callas software announced a newer version 2.3 of callas pdfaPilot, its PDF/A creation software. The new version fully supports all features of PDF/A-2 in regard to document validation and conversion. Additionally, the newer version is 64-bit enabled and features number of other enhancements.

SysTools Software announced the release of PDF Recovery Software, a tool to recover or repair corrupt PDF files. The new software will allow users to resolve PDF corruption through repair and restore of files.

Solid Documents announced the release of version 7 of Solid Converter PDF, its tool for converting PDFs into Word, Excel and other commonly used file formats. The new version features dozens of enhancements including improvements to workflow, editing and publishing.
