ElcomSoft have long been a thorn in Adobe’s side. It all started way back in 2001 when Dmitry Sklyarov, an employee of Russian company ElcomSoft, was arrested in Las Vegas for distributing a product (Advanced eBook Processor) that Adobe alleged was designed to circumvent copyright protection measures in its eBook software.
