Integrated Customer Software (ICS) released a newer version of its FormSprint software which is an i/OS electronic forms and design management tool. The new version, FormSprint 201001, introduces new features associated with PDF creation.

Adobe and Barnes announces further advancement for eBook distribution by joining hands to standardize the open EPUB and PDF eBooks and collaborating on a content protection standard based on Barnes & Noble and Adobe technology. Barnes and Noble will make all their content available to customers in PDF, which is one of the most compatible and secure file formats.

Debenu, the company that created Benubird Pro, the leading personal document managent tool for desktop users, today announced the formal release of version 7.12 of its royalty-free PDF SDK, Quick PDF Library.

Previously we’ve covered the announcement of the Foxit eSlick, a competitor to Sony Reader and and Amazon’s Kindle — now we have footage of the first prototype of the Foxit eSlick to share with you.

Foxit Software has also posted a video on YouTube demonstrating the hotly anticipated reflow feature in the eSlick.

The reflow functionality is important because it means that the text in the PDF document can automatically be reorganized to fit the screen size. More information about the eSlick Reader can be found here.
