Integrated Customer Software (ICS) released a newer version of its FormSprint software which is an i/OS electronic forms and design management tool. The new version, FormSprint 201001, introduces new features associated with PDF creation.

UNIVERSE Software GmbH, the vendor for PDF solutions, announced the Version 9.0 of its pdf-Office Professional with integrated JavaScript Interpreter that supports Standard JavaScript and most of Adobe’s proprietary JavaScript functions.

Question: I am looking for a solution to meet the following requirements. We need a solution that turns our paper based forms into fillable PDF forms and then lets us put these PDF forms on our website with a connection to our database. We would prefer one application or solution that meets all of these requirements and it needs to be part of an automated work flow. What do you suggest?

Don Fluckinger of PDFzone.com reports that the latest Web-browser from Google, Chrome, is still yet to support Fast Web View (as well as forms submissions and online collaboration).

I recently stumbled across a very insightful post by Max Wyss about “one of the little secrets of Acrobat since version 4″, which could be very useful for anyone who creates PDF forms for the web. Basically, if you create a PDF form for the web and you save the document with “Optimize for Fast Web View” turned on, then it has the opposite affect and actually makes the PDF form slower to load in a browser.
