Nuance Communications, Inc. announced that the accounting department of Boston Red Sox has selected Nuance’s eCopy PaperWorks software for scanning paper documents in to PDF. Boston Red Sox intends to drive out the paper from its accounting department to create efficient invoice processing.

Duff Johnson, head honcho at Document Solutions Inc., has been working with scanning to PDF intelligently for almost as long as computers had keyboards (in place of punched cards).
