There is an interesting conversation going on over at Pogue’s Posts, an New York Times blog, discussing why PDFs are still primarily created in portrait orientation and not landscape. The instigator argues that because we are printing less and less PDFs to paper, that we shouldn’t be restricted by portrait mode and that more user manuals and such things should be printed in landscape orientation.
