callas software announced a newer version 2.3 of callas pdfaPilot, its PDF/A creation software. The new version fully supports all features of PDF/A-2 in regard to document validation and conversion. Additionally, the newer version is 64-bit enabled and features number of other enhancements.

PDF/A Competence Centre (PDFACC) has launched its UK Chapter to assist UK-based customers and companies that offer PDF/A products and services. The launch of UK Chapter is marked with a series of educational seminars with the first seminar in London on 19th November.
