callas software announced a newer version 2.3 of callas pdfaPilot, its PDF/A creation software. The new version fully supports all features of PDF/A-2 in regard to document validation and conversion. Additionally, the newer version is 64-bit enabled and features number of other enhancements.

LuraTech announced that callas software GmbH has developed a third-party PDF conversion module for LuraTech’s DocYard, its document conversion platform. The module developed by callas software is called pdfaPilot 2 and it integrates the ability to convert digital file formats to PDF/A into the workflow of the DocYard platform.
